Our Forest School Program

At Leapfrog Kindergarten, we believe that children learn best when they are exploring, discovering, and connecting with nature. Our Forest School program is a unique outdoor learning experience that fosters curiosity, independence, and environmental stewardship in a natural setting.

  • What is Forest School

Forest School is a child-led approach to outdoor education, where children spend regular time learning in a woodland or natural environment. It encourages hands-on exploration, risk-taking, and outdoor skills, all while promoting physical and emotional development. Our educators are all qualified Level 3 or Level 1 Forest School Practitioners.

  • Why choose Forest School

    - Child-Led Learning: Our trained educators facilitate a supportive environment where children choose activities that interest them, fostering confidence and decision-making skills.

    - Nature Connection: Regular outdoor sessions help children develop a deep respect and understanding of the natural world.

    - Holistic Development: Forest School activities support physical health, social skills, creativity, and emotional resilience.

    - Sustainable Practices: We teach children about environmental responsibility and the importance of caring for our planet.
